Lake Memories

Not only do Bishops Bay members get to experience breathtaking views of beautiful Lake Mendota, they can also create lasting memories on the water with family and friends. Bishops Bay offers members exclusive access to Lake Mendota and option to reserve the Club's pontoon boat. Choose to add a Captain to drive the boat for you. Have a day of fun on the water without the challenges of owning your own boat.

All Bishops Bay full members enjoy exclusive access through the Invited Alliance of Clubs. This is a network of hundreds of private country and city clubs. In addition, some lifestyle benefits are available worldwide when you travel. This amazing access is included with your membership! It is a great way to use your membership no matter where you are!

Winter Fun

While summers at Bishops Bay are full of member events and programs, the Club stays active all winter long. Our Lakeside Golf Simulator keeps members swinging through the colder months, and our outdoor ice rink offers a fun way to enjoy the season. From teen events to couples’ date night skates and other winter gatherings, there are plenty of ways to stay connected, active, and warm throughout the winter.

Racquets

As part of our racquets program, Bishops Bay offers four outdoor clay tennis courts and four pickleball courts for members to enjoy. Our racquets team provides a variety of weekly drills, league play, open play, and private lessons for all skill levels. Members can also order equipment through the Tennis Pro Shop and take advantage of restringing services. Whether you’re looking to compete, improve your game, or simply enjoy time on the courts, our tennis and pickleball programs offer something for everyone.

Aquatics

Enjoy our outdoor heated swimming pool, featuring a beach-style entrance and resort-style service right to your seat. The pool area includes private cabanas, a snackbar with a variety of food and beverage options, and an upstairs pavilion that can be reserved for private events. The pool and locker/shower rooms were renovated in 2018, creating a comfortable and welcoming space for members and their guests. For families, swim lessons and swim team opportunities are also available for kids throughout the season.
